About Elizabeth Sullivan
My name is Elizabeth Sullivan and I’ve lived in the Kansas City area all my life and Olathe for most of the last 20 years. Most of the work I have is photography. I am not completely opposed to experimenting with digitally altering a photograph; I do consider this art as well. But I’d much prefer knowing that what makes the finished photograph special is the fact that it was actually seen that way in real life. Many of my images are of landscapes, flowers, or curious architectural elements. Common themes found in my photographs are colors, lines or lighting that caught my eye. Usually they are of subjects that are more simple than busy, or things that might be of interest to the eye of a child. I have had very little art...

My in-laws live in Boerne, and my best friend just moved to Austin. The Hill Country is one of my favorite places to visit...especially in the spring!! And, you sure can't miss Wildseed when you're out there!! :-) The red poppies sure were pretty this year!
Elizabeth Sullivan
That's funny, Lynn. We were there also in 2003, 2005, 2006 & 2012. : ) So I'm sure we must have been there at the same time once or twice. I love it there, and surrounding areas of course.
Lynn Bauer
In that case...we were probably there at the same time...or, very close to it! I don't remember, for sure, what year it was...but, the same flowers were growing out front! I was there this past spring, and it looked completely different!
Elizabeth Sullivan
Thanks, Lynn. And good eye! It is at Wildseed. Actually it was taken way back on May 28, 2006.

Thanks a lot, Mitch.

Thank you so much, Randy. What a nice compliment.

A real WOW factor on this one Elizabeth! I love the depth of this glorious capture! The fence line is superbly presented, and with the blanket of lavender beyond it is sublime. I also like the unique tree grouping in far background! Very nicely composed and presented, and you got the big, "Elvis" F/V on this gorgeous masterpiece of photography!
