Yes, I also have a photo of foxgloves and the information told me the flower contain a poison but it also had medicinal purpose to be used for heart condition digitalis. It is interesting something can be used both way.

Thanks, Randy. It’s interesting that medication can be made from something that can cause such harm. I’m sorry to hear about your father. Thanks for the further foxglove detail. Oh the beauty and the toxicity of this "black widow beauty" Elizabeth! The beauty is extravagant in these fine foxgloves, and actually they are toxic, of course I wouldn't eat them, but they also were used or maybe still are to make a heart medicine called digitalis, which my father was on, before his untimely demise! The beauty of somethings like the foxgloves can be thoroughly enjoyed with caution, and awe! Lovely capture and thanks for the desription! fave and vote
